Jen is a freelance writer/editor, waiting impatiently for her Hogwarts letter. In the mean time, she’s a blogger, reader, gamer, internet junkie, and theatre nerd with a super useful master’s degree.
Chickens make her laugh (especially the Robot variety), and so does Spongebob. Much like the T.A.R.D.I.S., Jen can be fixed by spilling tea on her.
Jen has been nerding it up ever since Sailor Moon debuted on the WB when she was six, and writing about nerding it up since she was eleven.
Jen started out by writing herself and her friends into real-life fanfiction, her favorite of which takes place at a “Saiyan Training School” where she and Gohan totally fell in love.
If writing is Jen’s favorite activity, then reading is number two. Her affinity for video games lead to an awesome summer at Kotaku in 2011. She is currently co-writing a paper on Doctor Who and Peter Pan, titled “Come Along Pond… Off to Neverland”, which she will present at the 2013 International Conference for the Fantastic in the Arts.
Jen’s favorite movie is Disney’s Hercules, though Empire Strikes Back is a very close second.

I’m really going have to disagree with you when it comes to Bulma being a good role model.
I know you are. Sorry this response is late. It’s a topic we’re just going to have to agree to disagree. She was a strong role model for me, and I haven’t flashed any old creepy men lately (or…ever), so I guess the wider context is what ultimately matters, IMHO.
