Here are some fun things you may or may not have missed this week!
On the heels of the most moving panel in the history of all panels at SDCC, this week Joss Whedon announced his intentions to not only write and direct Avengers 2, but also pilot a new “Marvel-based” series for the more episodic audience. Like a Joss. Not much more than speculation is known about the series at this point, but if it’s anything like his other works, I’m sure it will be amazing and then cancelled before it reaches full potential.

Flexible girls like video games, too? Color me intrigued. In the only thing that could interest me from the 2012 Snoozefest, I mean Olympics, Mexican gymnast Elisa Garcia performed her floor routine not only with four broken fingers, but also to Lindsay Sterling’s classical interpretation of the Legend of Zelda medley. Hey! Listen!
